Welcome to the Witton le Wear Parish Council website which has been developed to keep the residents of Witton le Wear informed of important issues within our community. As well as information about the Parish Council, the website will host information about other groups and activities within the village and provide links to relevant websites.
The Parish Council meets bi monthly, at 6:15 pm in the Community Centre, Witton le Wear. Meeting dates for this year can be found below. Council meetings are open to members of the public who are welcome to attend. If you wish to attend or bring something to the notice of the Councillors please contact the Parish Clerk.

Next Parish Council Meeting:
Monday 13th July 2026 at 18-15 WLW Community Centre – PC Ordinary Meeting.
At our next Parish Council meeting, 13th July 18-15 at Witton le Wear Community Centre, we will be joined by Cllr Robbie Roddis, Chairman of Durham County Council. Cllr Roddis will be available to discuss public transport and traffic issues. Please come along and join is on the evening.
